The Globe 40 returns to Virtual Regatta, and this time, it's for a full world tour. 
On the agenda: 7 races in Class40 across the oceans, following in the footsteps of a route that is already legendary in both reality and virtual reality. 

Ready for a long, strategic adventure full of twists and turns? Here's everything you need to know about one of the most memorable moments of the 2025 season. 

🌐 Le format : 1 prologue + 6 étapes autour du monde

The Globe 40 takes you to the four corners of the globe, between the Atlantic, Indian, and Pacific Oceans. The 2025 route follows the entire course of the real race, adapted for the game in a 100% offshore, 100% Class40 format. The challenge spans more than 30,000 nautical miles, and the adventure, which begins in Lorient, will end ten months later in the same place.

Leg 1 : Cadiz → Mindelo (Cape Verde) – September 14, 2025
Leg 2 Mindelo → Reunion Island – October 2, 2025
Leg 3 : Reunion Island → Sydney – November 21, 2025
Leg 4 : Sydney → Valparaiso – January 1, 2026
Leg 5 : Valparaiso → Recife – February 18, 2026
Leg 6 Recife → Lorient – March 29, 2026

Each leg has its own weather conditions, pitfalls, and challenges. You can choose to do them all, or join the adventure along the way.

Sailing on Virtual Regatta is not just a series of stages:

Some routes are short and tactical (such as Lorient → Cadiz), while others are long ocean crossings where your choice of course will have consequences lasting several days (such as Mindelo → Reunion Island or Sydney → Valparaiso).

The race is run on Class40 monohulls, boats specifically designed for offshore racing.
