Every odd summer, the finest offshore strategists meet up for a concentrate of ocean racing made in Brittany. This regional adventure is called Tour de Bretagne Voile and it’s coming to Virtual Regatta Offshore! 

Le Figaro Beneteau 3 - A new generation monohull 

It is the first production monohull with foils. The Figaro 3 marked a turning point in solo ocean racing. Lighter, more powerful and also more demanding, it forces skippers to be vigilant at all times. Although foils don't make the boat fly, they do improve its stability and speed. The result? A more nervous, livelier and even more tactical boat. 

It is the official boat of the famous Solitaire du Figaro, a leader in the sport. On Virtual Regatta, it offers a perfect balance between accessibility and technicality. 

A strategic course designed for tacticians

Le Tour de Bretagne Voile, c’est un tracé unique de 660 milles nautiques inspiré du format réel, mais adapté à l’expérience Virtual Regatta : un parcours en continu, élargi vers le sud de l’Angleterre, pensé pour maximiser la stratégie et la lisibilité de jeu, sans perdre l’essence côtière et bretonne de la course. Une succession de parcours côtiers, passages emblématiques, et de pièges météo locaux. Si le jeu vous propose une navigation fluide et continue, le fond reste le même : un défi de stratégie pure, entre trajectoires ras-cailloux, vents thermiques et petits décalages qui font la différence. 

Ports, light, and granite: Brittany as a backdrop 

From Perros-Guirec to Quiberon, via Saint-Malo, Brest, and Concarneau, the course is an invitation to travel. Every curve of the coastline tells a story, every headland crossed recalls a feat. The Tour de Bretagne Voile is also that: an immersion into a strong, committed, and deeply rooted maritime culture.

A bit of history 

The Tour de Bretagne Voile was created in 1997 and is held every two years in double-handed format aboard Figaro Beneteau boats. It’s one of the great classics of the Figaro circuit, known for its varied courses, intense close-contact racing, and the friendly atmosphere at every stopover. A true showcase of Breton sailing and a real test of skill for both seasoned sailors and rising talents.
