Before thrilling thrill-seekers in the Mediterranean, this trimaran made history in offshore racing. Built by the masters at CDK Technologies and designed by the iconic naval architects VPLP, it was initially known as Groupama 1. At its helm, none other than Frank Cammas, a major figure in French sailing, led it to outstanding performances in the biggest ocean races.
This boat is a living page of modern sailing history. At a time when the ORMA 60s were shaking up the docks, it was already at the forefront, pushing the boundaries of speed and innovation. It has witnessed tight battles, rough seas, and great victories. Now renamed Candide, it may have left the podiums, but it has never left the legend. Today, it continues to make waves, but with a new mission: to share its magic with the general public, offering everyone the unique opportunity to sail on a trimaran that has written history.
